Nakamoto’s Den 2019 Battles Description
Battles: Mechanics & Procedures

Nakamoto’s Den will be hosting a Digital Startup Battle, which will feature eight Blockchain projects that have already developed at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Our second Battle, the Post-ICO Battle, will feature eight digital startup projects actively seeking investors. The participants in each category will face each other directly, answering questions to assess their viability and potential for success in front of a panel of experts.

Nakamoto’s Den offers free participation for all selected startups, which includes a free Booth and 1 free VIP ticket.

If you are a startup interested in participating in any of the two Battles, please submit one of the following forms. The Nakamoto’s Den team will shortly contact you regarding your application.

Post-ICO (funded) Battle

Nakamoto’s Den will have the first Post-ICO Battle in the world, which will feature eight successfully crowdfunded Blockchain projects. The participants will face each other directly, answering questions regarding the main aspects of their project with the aim to assess their viability and potential for success.

Rounds will consist of four questions asked by a host, with the participant having 70 seconds to answer. After this, the audience will vote for their favourite project through a simple and intuitive application on their smartphone or tablet. Through this application, attendees will also be able to ask questions and vote for their favourite questions to be answered by the three finalists.

The result of this Battle will be determined 100% of the audience’s vote. The final vote to determine who’s taking home the Nakamoto’s Den Crypto Crown will be cast live by the audience.

Digital Start-Up Battle

Nakamoto’s Den will also be hosting a Digital Start-Up Battle, which will feature eight successfully funded Blockchain projects that have also developed at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The participants will face each other directly, answering questions regarding the main aspects of their project with the aim to assess their viability and potential for success. The rest of the rounds’ mechanics and voting system will be similar to those of the Post-ICO Battle.

Rounds will consist of four questions asked by a host, with the participant having 70 seconds to answer. After this, the audience will vote for their favourite project through a simple and intuitive application called Slido on their smartphone or tablet. Through this application, attendees will also be able to ask questions and vote for their favourite questions to be answered by the two finalists.

This Final Battle will only feature two finalists. On the final, each participant will have to answer to the highest-voted question in the application, and judges will ask direct questions before casting a score for the finalists.
